One-piece outer shell is made with an injection-molded, specially modified thermoplastic alloy that's lightweight yet tough enough to dissipate impacts and resist penetration. Sanded-smooth outer shell is coated with premium paint. Super-fine flakes are used on metallic helmet to achieve the brilliance and depth of color. Tough, high-gloss clear polyurethane protects the painted finish against scuffs and scratches as well as permits easy soap and water cleanups. The oval PRIX logo is applied to the helmet over the clear coating and may be removed if desired. Comfort-contoured one-piece polystyrene inner shell absorbs any "leftover" shocks. Plush brushed black microfiber nylon lining with bonded-on foam backing is sweat resistant—you'll stay cool when the temperature isn't. Black double-stitched chin strap with chromed steel "D" rings is partially enclosed and padded on each side for comfort. Smooth molded black rubber trim. Meets or exceeds DOT specifications.
